Surgery - Plastic Physician Job in Phoenix, AZ

One of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in Metropolitan Phoenix, has an immediate practice opportunity for a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. Current team of 1 full-time breast surgeon and 3 other plastic surgeons, with 1 retiring. This role will step into the retiring physician's position, with the potential for a leadership role/Chief of Service.

The Surgery Department staffs a 270-bed academic community hospital and designated ACS and State of Arizona Level I Adult Trauma/Level I Burn Center. It is an urban teaching hospital with a fully accredited ACGME General Surgery Residency, and the Plastic Surgery Division also hosts resident rotators from the Mayo Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency. Group is a faculty partner in the Creighton University Medical School educational alliance. Its surgeons operate and round at a new hospital facility that opened in 2024.

Should be comfortable managing the full range of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery patients. Expertise with Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular surgery is required.
Join four existing plastic surgeons in the division of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Inpatient and outpatient general plastic and reconstructive surgery services in the elective and emergent care settings, sharing call coverage, and teaching residents.
No cosmetics.
Opportunity to participate in collaborative research activities and refining and extending existing plastic surgery services.
