This specific position will work from the Buffett Cancer Center on the main medical campus in Omaha, NE.

Medical Dosimetrist Description:
Generate radiation dose distributions and calculations in order to provide radiation treatment plans, in accordance with the radiation oncologists' prescription. Assist in simulation, brachytherapy and specialty procedures as directed and participates in the clinical and didactic instruction of students.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Graduate of an approved AMA program in medical dosimetry or radiation therapy technology program required.
Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) or registry eligible required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Clinical experience as a dosimetrist or radiation therapist preferred.
Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy technology, or health related field, preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
Medical dosimetry computer applications preferred.
ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist preferred.
